It's now been confirmed 2 Canadian tourists have apparently died after a bus crash in the Dominican Republic. According to reports, the fatal crash happened Sunday night involving a shuttle transporting tourists to a hotel. The Dominican Republic's National Health Service said eight of the injured were male, 5 injured female, all between the ages of 37 and 72. The age and gender of the deceased tourists were not known. Ontario's Premier has signed an economic partnership agreement with two First Nations located in the Ring of Fire. Construction set to begin this year, giving access to what's believed to be large deposits of critical minerals. Ontario and Nova Scotia have agreed to let their residents buy alcohol directly from the other province as part of the Premier's ongoing work to bolster inter-provincial trade. Producers will be able to start applying today, a process the Premier say will only take a matter of days. Iran has hit the U.S. embassy in Saudi Arabia's capital with a drone strike today. Counter-strikes on U.S. embassies in Kuwait prompted the U.S. State Department to order the evacuation of all non-emergency personnel from six countries. Iran reports just under 800 people have been killed by the U.S. and Israel since Saturday in attacks. The so-called campaign could last more than a month. Canadian military personnel stationed in the Middle East are said to be out of harm's way. And everyone's hoping Ontario will follow suit. B.C. is locked in permanent daylight time after years of waiting on the U.S. So this weekend, when clocks spring forward, B.C. will not be changing their clocks anymore. While Ontario passed legislation in 2020 aiming to make daylight saving time permanent, It was waiting also on the U.S. Sports. Leafs lost to Philly 3-2 in a shootout and have yet to win a game since returning from the Olympics. Elsewhere, Vancouver lost to Dallas. Leafs are in New Jersey tomorrow at 7. Baseball preseason, the Blue Jays lost to Boston 7-6. They take on Team Canada this afternoon at 1. It's part of preparations for the World Baseball Classic.
